Our Services

We provide prenatal care starting as early as your first positive pregnancy test. Prenatal care is individualized for an experience that meets the needs of the families we serve. Appointments take place at the birth center and we offer all standard labs and ultrasounds.

Our facility has two birth rooms equipped with everything needed to help facilitate a natural, unmedicated delivery. Our birth center offers a home like experience while getting to enjoy the comforts of a facility designed specifically for birth.

We offer home birth to anyone within the greater Charlottesville area. The most traditional way of birth, our midwives carry all the equipment needed to help support families who choose to deliver at home.

One birth suite has a large tub, the other a spacious shower. Warm water is a great tool for pain management throughout labor and creates a smooth transition from womb to world for babies.

The postpartum is a time of healing, bonding and transition. We are able to provide postpartum care for both mother/parent and baby up to six weeks. Our first postpartum visit is in the first 24-48 hours after birth, in the client’s home.

For our clients who choose to breastfeed, we offer lactation support for the full six weeks postpartum.
